Each season our guests have increasingly high expectations and we have a duty to continually provide what has been promised and sold. Whilst you may experience a few over-expectant guests alongside some wonderfully laid-back ones, it is necessary to remember that all must receive the same high levels of service regardless of their personality or approach.
The Powder White team in the UK know exactly what resort life’s about and have all experienced the highs and lows it brings. Working for Powder White provides you with the opportunity to experience a whole new way of life; developing your home-keeping and entertaining skills, meeting new friends, possibly creating future career contacts and of course taking advantage of some fantastic skiing. Life at altitude is probably some of the best you’ll ever know although it is crucial to remember that your job is your ticket to all this and therefore it must be understood that your job comes first. Be assured though, our staff are given every opportunity to enjoy what is on offer and maximise their seasonal enjoyment as long as the social side of their season does not spill into work.
In short... Doing a season is a fine balancing act which is essential to master early on and which you must be prepared to put a lot of hard work and effort into. We absolutely accept that plenty of our competitors will offer jobs without any effort on the applicant's part at all, however we do not believe this to be an appropriate recruitment strategy.
