Powder White has just completed an 8th successful season and is starting already to make preparations for winter 20011/12. Due to our planned re-launch for the 2011-2012 winter season we are looking for Resort Product Co-ordinators to join our busy overseas teams.

The Powder White Product Coordinators hold an extremely important role in each of our resort teams. They are responsible for ensuring the product is delivered as sold and that our guests receive the highest standards of service and care. Working closely with our Product Manager based in London, they must ensure that the cuisine and housekeeping provided is as not only required or expected, but of a high standard to ensure our excellent and well-regarded repeat guest ratio is maintained.

Resort Product Coordinator
The Powder White Product Coordinators hold an extremely important role in each of our resort teams. They are responsible for ensuring the product is delivered as sold and that our guests receive the highest standards of service and care. Working closely with our Product Manager based in London, they must ensure that the cuisine and housekeeping provided is as not only required or expected, but of a high standard to ensure our excellent and well-regarded repeat guest ratio is maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating chalet hosts to ensure that rotas are fair and even and to ensure cover is always provided in cases of staff illness or injury
- Ensuring stringent quality control measures are put in place and adhered to through regular chalet visits and supervision during service times
- Monitoring Food Hygiene at all times and ensuring that the highest standards of cleanliness are not only maintained but surpassed
- First-class product delivery in terms of The Powder White Menu Plan, quality of ingredients used, cleaning products and resort supplies
- Ensuring that Powder White products are provided by way of Optional Extras, Bathroom Accessories, Wine Allocations, Crockery/Glassware, Bedlinen and Furnishings/Decoration
- Overseeing third party resort supplier contracts (excluding ski packs) and ensuring these are delivered satisfactorily and as agreed
- Ensuring all guest paperwork and information files are kept regularly up to date and informative
- Working closely with your Resort Manager to ensure that chalet host accounts are being completed in a satisfactory and timely manner ensuring that chalet allowance is being suitably worked to
- Monitoring resort staff team appearance in terms of not only clean and well-kept uniform/clothing, but also monitoring levels of personal hygiene in accordance with Company policy
- Providing practical and ongoing training for not only replacement staff in resort but also original team members
- Involvement in the Powder White comprehensive chalet host training programme at the start of the season
- Providing cover where applicable either in your own resort or, on occasions, in another Powder White resort if/when required
- Coordinating and monitoring resort stocks of the Powder White clothing brand and overseeing guest payments in this respect
Experience Required:
- Proven record of excellent team participation & leadership and ability to act on own initiative
- Good customer service experience in a front-line client-facing environment
- Good accounting & budgeting skills to ensure the chalet allowance is fully maximised in order to achieve excellent service and cuisine
- Computer literacy in Excel & Word
- Good understanding of French or German in both written and most importantly conversation
- Level 2 Award in Food Hygiene (minimum)
- Relevant cooking/chefing qualifications & experience with suitable leadership skills in the kitchen
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to be part of a team who drive forward to achieve superb results, to excel and to exceed expectations
