Resort Representative Job

The Resort Representative role is extremely varied and provides an excellent opportunity for the right candidate  to build a strong foundation in resort operations.  This front-line position is key to ensuring our guests have the best possible holiday experience with Powder White.  Working closely with the Resort Manager and Resort Product Coordinator, this position  will involve interaction with guests and team, driving guests and staff, as well as providing full backup and support behind the scenes with the administration for the resort.  You will need to be  forward thinking with an “all hands on deck" approach
Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with your Resort Manager with ski pack organisation and in-resort  Property Extras  Sales, and collation of all figures in relation to this
  • Maintaining and developing excellent supplier relationships through good communication and use of local language
  • Assisting in covering Day to Day Logistics & Resort Operations  in the absence of the Resort Manager 
  • Participation in property standards and customer welfare visits for all chalets, hotels and apartments, including Follow-Up and detailed report writing
  • Supporting the Resort Manager and Product Coordinator to ensure smooth operation of resort set-up and closedown in accordance with London Office requirements
  • Assisting in ensuring all guest paperwork and information files are kept regularly up to date and informative
  • Working closely with your Resort Manager to ensure that  resort and chalet host accounts are being completed in a satisfactory and timely manner, and collation of all paperwork in relation to this
  • Responsibility for any resort vehicles ensuring they are kept clean and tidy both inside and out at all times, keeping a comprehensive reporting system on any damage caused and obtaining quotes when required
  • Guest transfers on changeover days to/from either the train stations or airports, working closely with other Powder White resort drivers
  • Guest shuttles to and from the piste
  • Responsibility for any Powder White petty cash held in resort
  • To perform other duties as may be required from time to time and/or provide cover as and when necessary whether this be in your resort or in another Powder White resort
Experience Required:
  • Proven record of working within a team combined with ability to work alone/act on own initiative
  • Good customer service experience and proactive approach to dealing with difficult situations and unforeseen circumstances
  • Computer literacy in Excel & Word
  • Experience of dealing with stock control, organisation and recording of inventories
  • Good knowledge of French in order to deal with suppliers, deliveries and maintenance
  • Proven organisational experience with the ability to support your team and move forward to achieve , excel and exceed expectations
  • Clean driving licence and a minimum age of 23 (due to vehicle insurance constraints)
  • Preferable experience of driving in difficult conditions and use of snow-chains
