Proposed Salary:       
Basic £20k with OTE £26k, Review on 1st September 2013 and thereafter  yearly.

20 days + bank holidays + up to 5 days unpaid  holiday available (date restrictive)

9.00-5.30 Monday to Friday with evening and  weekend telephone covering rota (possibly in office  during peak months of Nov/Dec/Jan, other times on
diversion)
     
Powder White is in the midst of its 9th successful season and is starting already to make preparations for the 2012/13 season.  Due to the planned new programme launch, we are looking for a strong and knowledgeable Sales Consultant to join our busy team in Wandsworth, London.  

Successful applicants will have the following (preferred but not essential): 

  • A good knowledge of ski resort operations including, good chalet holiday knowledge, as well as apartment and hotel knowledge
  • Preferable knowledge of all our existing chalet resorts (currently Courchevel/Meribel/Verbier/Val d’Isere/St Anton) as well as other leading French resorts 
  • Good sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills with a real focus on customer service
  • Good IT skills to include Excel and internet (training given on the Powder White database)
  • Outgoing personality with the drive to succeed and “close the deal” 
  • Team-player with a calm disposition, always helpful especially at peak time, and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Willingness to help out in other areas (operations and/or admin) when required
  • Basic knowledge of French and/or German ideal but not essential
  • UK work permit with UK NI number
