We are absolutely delighted to be working with Caspar Auchterlonie for the forthcoming 2006/07 ski season.  He brings to Powder White a wealth of knowledge and expertise and has selected a super selection of red and white wines for our chalets in Courchevel and Val d'Isere.

Caspar has worked in the UK wine trade for 16 years, almost exclusively in the independent fine wine sector, in public relations and marketing, as a journalist since 1998, as a lecturer and wine tutor and as a judge in national and international competitions.  He is a member of the Circle of Wine Writers and also a committee member of the Wine & Spirits Trade Club, being Chairman from April 2004/2005.

Amongst many others, Caspar has constructed the wine list for Dion Leadenhall, one of the City’s best wine bars and Saran Rom, a royal Thai reaturant in Chelsea, and consulted for Funkybuddha and Dion St Pauls.  We are delighted that he has agreed to act as our Specialist Wine Consultant and to work very closely with Powder White in choosing our chalet wines for the 2006/07 season.
