Ski Holiday Activities
If six full days skiing is too much for your thighs or knees, be sure to the UK Operations team know. We can advise on activities that make the most of the beautiful scenery, provide thrilling encounters or provide family fun. These might include skidoo and husky rides, snow shoing, ice climbing or go carting. If this is too sedate, the dare devils can go parapenting or ice diving.
· Husky Ride: Don’t let your imagination fool you. This is not a sit on ride but, you wouldn’t want it any other way. You literally take the reins in this incredible activity and are responsible for controlling your sled which can be pulled by 3 or occasionally 4 dogs. This wild experience will take you through icy labyrinths and barely-there clearings through woodlands. You will be taught how to brake when needed and when to lighten the load for when faced with uphill climbs. This is a favourite with families (minimum age is 12), also there is really no better way to get the blood pumping.
· Snowmobiling: When the ski runs have closed for the day, it closes one chapter and opens a whole new one. You can try your hand at driving the fantastic 500cc 2 seated motorbike, built essentially for the snow to provide an enlivening alternative to skiing. Following your tuition you will be led into the night by your highly skilled instructors. Feel the anticipation of creeping through mountainous trails and the buzz of revving into snowy playgrounds, custom built by nature.
· Paragliding: A truly spectacular complement to your skiing day, it is no wonder people return for more during their visit. Discover the valley in its three dimensional geometry. For the ultimate exhilaration, soar soundlessly above the ski runs in another dimension, experience the ambiance of floating high above all others and sense the freedom of flying in perfect safety.
· Hot Air Balloon Ride: Few moments in life will stay with you for too long of a time, yet every single moment of this experience will stay with you for always. Let the feeling of the wind beneath your wings carry you away with a breeze. You will float effortlessly above the most exquisite views and enjoy the sheer delights of the scenery around you. The mountains to the side, the snow covered trees and the chalets below, all accompanied by a soundlessly serene atmosphere.

For those people looking for a once in a life time experience, we can also organise a private helicopter transfer. The helicopter will pick you up from your chosen airport (limited airports) and fly you to your resort in style, whilst you sit back, relax and enjoy the magnificent views of the snow capped mountains.
