What Others Say...
My husband and I just returned from a wonderful stay at the Hotel Manali in Courchevel. Everything was superb.Anna S, UK, 2nd February 2014
Beautifully appointed with great amenities. They have accomplished what is hard to do, which is being a great family hotel in addition to being unmatched for adults without children. Superb spa, great bar & lounge in addition to a civilised cigar bar with a fully contained ventilation system. Food to die for with attentive service.Jane K-S, UK, 23rd January 2013
We stayed for a week’s skiing at half term. As with previous years the service was fantastic, the staff (especially the boot room team) could not have been more helpful. The facilities are great, the pool was spotless, cleaning brilliant and lots of little touches (small robes for the kids, well equipped toiletries, lots of wardrobe space, etc.) make this a top choice. Ski in and ski out makes the location perfect.Real W, UK, 21st February 2012

The superb Hotel Manali is the first of its kind, offering a new level of 5 star luxury in Courchevel 1650. Named after a famous Indian ski resort, the hotel adopts a unique Eastern influence, from its beautifully decorated rooms, to massage treatments and even the large elephant sculptures guarding the entrance. The Manali lies at the foot of the slopes in Courchevel 1650, providing instant access to the slopes. The ski schools and nursery slopes are literally on the doorstep, making it the perfect destination for a family ski holiday.
The hotel consists of 37 delightfully decorated rooms and suites, which take guests on one of 3 journeys... The Indian rooms have an Eastern feel with rich red and orange tones, silk fabrics and Himalayan touches; alternatively enjoy the ambience of a Canadian lodge with furs and wood or the chalet style Swiss suites. All rooms are fully equipped and you can even have music playing in the shower!
Food in the hotel restaurant is exceptional with head chef Christian Salin producing refined and innovative dishes from fresh, local ingredients. During the day, the restaurant offers some more traditional Savoyard cuisine as well as a barbecue on the sunny south facing terrace; also the perfect spot for an après ski drink. The Manali is home to 2 bars: the first a cosy piano bar, with armchairs, double-sided hearth and Indian-inspired decoration; the second is the Kullu Mountain Club, ideal for catching up with friends and family in a laidback atmosphere and where you can even enjoy a game of billiards or a sports match on big screen.
The Mahayana Spa is the perfect elegant and peaceful setting in which to unwind at the end of the day. It features an indoor pool, sauna and steam room, fitness room with Technogym machines and herbal tea bar. Cinq Mondes beauty treatments and massages are also available for those looking to further indulge. As a truly family-friendly hotel, the Manali has its own children's chalet for kids aged from 3 years, offering childcare in a fun, dedicated environment, with a whole host of organised activities.
