Hotel Kandahar

The Hotel Kandahar in Val d'Isere is a lovely family-run 3* hotel which was totally rebuilt in 1995 and extended in 2001. The hotel is ideally located to the heart of Val d'Isere to fully live the 'Val d'Isere Experience', with the Espace Killy ski domain ('Solaise' and 'Bellevarde') minutes away and local amenities, bars and restaurants on the hotels doorstep. The 41 charming rooms are cosy, simple chalet style but refined decor with wooden furniture and soft fabrics.

The Hotel Kandahar is all about comfort and well-being; enjoy relaxing moments in the sauna and hammam, allowing you to relieve all the stress and the tension, let the tiredness fade away. After a day on the slopes, enjoy astounding views of 'La Face' (men's downhill run) or the warmth of the bar's fireplace, sharing a well deserved drink with friends.

There is also a lovely restaurant; 'La Taverne d'Alsace' which is adjoined to the hotel and also open to the public. Alsace offers a wide range of dishes which include some traditional Savoyard dishes, which are complimented with an eclectic wine list.
