The popular Hotel Fahrenheit Seven was rennovated from an older hotel for winter 16/17 – and what a difference it has made. Expect a modern, vintage-style feel with a real focus on blending design and comfort – a touch of affordable luxury in the high-end resort of Val Thorens.
Featuring ski-to-door access, this hotel is perfectly located at the foot of the Vla Thorens slopes with only a short walk from the resort centre. The Hotel boasts 107 rooms and suites that are adapted to suit all size groups, from couples to families to big groups. Most rooms offer panoramic mountain views.
The Hotel which comes on a half board basis, so we recommend filling up for the day with the excellent breakfast buffeet and treating yourself to dishes from the a la carte menu in the evening. It offers two restaurants; La Rotisserie specialises in grilled meat dishes and Le Zinc offers local cheese dishes. The meals are served on the south-facing terrace during fine weather and there is a bar featuring an open fireplace.
At the end of a day skiing when it’s time to reward yourself for a hard day’s work, you can sit out on the terrace and soak up the view, or head to the bar for drinks and dancing, often with live bands or DJs, or if you prefer a more peaceful kind of après, take a trip to the wellness area and swap between the hot sauna or hammam and the cold ice bed, Scandinavian style, to get your body ready for another day on the slopes.
