What Others Say...
The hotel is very conveniently located. My room was unusually spacious for the Alps and the bed comfortable. Dinner (5 courses) was always good, sometimes excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was decent value for money given that it's in Verbier.Neil P, UK, 26th January 2014
Excellent service, Spotless rooms, Great food. We had a south facing balcony room very nice with fantastic views.Graeme K, UK, 21 March 2013
Hotel de la Poste is fairly easy to find if you come by train/gondola or bus to Verbier- it is on the way up to Medran Gondola station, only a 5 minute walk away. They have a small pool for après skiing and for dinner, the finest home cooked meals we have had in our many trips to SwitzerlandJim V, Canada, 21st December 2012

The Hotel de la Poste was one of the first hotels to be built in Verbier. Founded by M. Ami Oreiller, father of Marie Oreiller, the current director, this family run hotel boasts a privileged view of the Grand Combin and the Mont Blanc chain. The hotel has a wonderfully traditional style and is perfectly positioned on the Rue de Medran in the heart of Verbier. The shops, bars and restaurants are right on the doorstep and the main Medran lift is just 250 yards away.
This lovely 3 star hotel is much sought after and you may find it hard to drag yourself away once you have enjoyed a soothing swim in the hotel's indoor pool or relaxed in the comfortable lounge by the roaring fire. The inviting bar also offers a perfect place for an aperitif before dinner. The hotel's restaurant serves a delightful 3 course evening meal as well as a weekly fondue and raclette gala night.
Whilst quite old fashioned, the hotel has a lovely charm about it. All bedrooms are ensuite and many have balconies offering splendid views of the famous Valaisian mountain ranges. Guest rooms include a bath or shower, telephone, radio and minibar.
