Chalet Nanouk is a superb, freestanding farmhouse style chalet in central Val d'Isere. Built in traditional Savoyarde wood and stone, many of the original features have been lovingly restored by the current owner so this combined with personal Alpine touches and decoration really does make for the perfect architypal chalet holiday experience.
There is a wonderful huge living/dining room with plenty of comfortable sofa seating, antique dining table and large corner log fire. There is also a lovely balcony on which to enjoy a chilled glass of wine in the early evening.
The chalet has 6 bedrooms and 5 bath/shower rooms and the added avantage of an indoor jacuzzi in which to relax after a hard day on the piste. Whilst the Nanouk is considered full for 12 people, there is an additional twin bunk room which can be used for whole groups of 14 (13th & 14th guests go at 65% of the adult price). The village centre is a short stroll and the main Bellevarde/Solaise lifts are a simple 6 minutes flat walk away. The Powder White pre-bookable minibus shuttle service is available for the Nanouk and includes morning drop offs and afternoon pick ups from the main Bellevarded lift (times restrictive).
Chalet Nanouk is run by one chalet couple who live out.
The Accommodation comprises:
- Bedroom 1: Double Room with ensuite shower & washbasin
- Bedroom 2: Double Room with alcove bed
- Bedroom 3: Double Room with alcove bed
- Bedroom 4: Twin Bunks with ensuite shower (for 13th & 14th people - 65% of adult price)
- Bedroom 5: Double Room with balcony, bath & washbasin in room
- Bedroom 6: Double Room with bath & washbasin in room
- Bedroom 7: Double Room with alcove bed, ensuite bath & washbasin
- Additional Shower on ground floor next to jacuzzi
- 3 separate loos
- Bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle & double washbasin & loo
- Floor Area: Approx. 300m2
Facilities include:
- Internet access (one off pre-payable nominal charge of EUR20 per week)
- TV and DVD/Stereo with film library
- Jacuzzi (indoor) with steam room.
