Chalet Verdaches I is set in the picturesque and idyllic hamlet Le Fornet just outside the heart of Val d'Isere and in the highest part of the valley. It forms a most attractive free-standing chalet built in the traditional Tarentaise style of wood and stone and is nestled amongst other attractive chalet buildings of the same style. The Verdaches are situated just a 2-3 minute walk from the main Le Fornet cable car and at the end of the day, one can ski back to the chalets on a straight-forward unpisted track.  The local shuttle bus which runs late into the evening stops nearby providing instant access into the main Val d'Isere village, bars and nightlife therefore it offers a perfect location for those looking to relax in an informal village atmosphere but also a great position in which to access everything a major resort such as Val d'Isere has to offer. 

Built over three floors, Verdaches I has four large bedrooms, all with ensuite bath/shower rooms. The bedrooms are supplied with duvet, linen and towels, and two pillows for each bed. The middle floor is taken up by the very large living/dining/kitchen area, with plenty of seating so everyone can put their feet up and relax in front of the log fire after a hard day on the slopes.  There is a large balcony, Cable TV (CNN & Eurosport), DVD player and internet access.

The Verdaches I is run by one Chalet Manager and there is also an extra assistant.  They live in a separate apartment at the base of the chalets.
