La Grange de Marie forms part of a traditional old Savoyarde barn dating from 1892 in the popular area of Morel in the heart of Meribel. Situated just a minute's walk from Chez Kiki bar/restaurant and just 2 minutes walk from the Morel chairlift, it promises to offer super, spacious and comfortable accommodation for groups of up to 10 guests. It also has the added advantage of a private sauna in which to relax after a long day on the slopes.
Ideally suited to families or friends, all bedrooms are ensuite and there is a large open-plan living/dining room with a log fireplace and french doors leading to a wonderful south-facing balcony with fantastic views across Meribel and down the Valley. La Grange de Marie will be finished to a very high standard over the summer of 2007 under the watchful eye of its very conscientious owner who is based in Meribel itself.
The village centre is approximately 6 minutes walk and there is a free bus stop within 100 yards of the chalet providing direct free access to the Chaudanne lift station. This, however, is not necessary as the Morel chairlift is just a couple of minutes walk away whisking you directly into the Altiport on the Courchevel side of the Meribel ski area and thereafter into the main Three Valley circuit. There is free parking (external) for 2 cars close-by.
La Grange de Marie is run by one couple who live out.
