From Calais
· From Calais take the A26 to Reims
· From Reims take the A4 to Metz.
· Turn off onto the A26 signposted Troyes Just past Troyes take the A5 and then the A31 signposted Dijon.
· From Dijon to Lyon the A31 becomes the A6.
· Just before Lyon take the A46 for Grenoble
· Once on the ring road around Grenoble (Rocade Sud), leave at junction 8, signposted Briancon and Station de lâ Oisans Once in Bourg D'Oisans, take the road signposted Alpe d'Huez which will be found after the Casion supermarket in Bourg.
From Geneva
· The resort is located at 209 km from Geneva and can be reached within 02h49min.
· After leaving Geneva, take exit 1 close to Carouge, take Route Des Jeunes.
· Take 25/E62/ sign posted to Lyon
· Then take the N201 for 19 km towards Annecy.
· After passing Annecy take the A43 towards Albertville.
· Take A41 for 49 km and pass Grenoble.
· Close to Saint-Martin-d'Heres, take N87 for 11 km and head towards Echirolles.
· Take A480 for 3.5 km towards Station de L'Oisans.
· Continue along N91 for Route De Bourg-D'Oisans
· Turn left to get on D211 for 11 km and pass by Huez to arrive in Alpe-d'Huez.
From Lyon
· After leaving Lyon, turn left on E15 towards to head towards Saint-Fons.
· Take E70 towards Chambery.
· Then take the E711 for 40 km towards Grenoble.
· Take A480 to Echirolles and take the exit towards Station de L'Oisans.
· Take N91 for Le Bourg-d'Oisans.
· Turn left to get on D211 for 11 km and pass by Huez to arrive in Alpe-d'Huez.
Coaches
Go to Eurolines http://www.eurolines.co.uk to look at the option of getting coaches to near by cities. You will then need to take a local bus up to resort.
Prices are around £100 return.
