Getting to Avoriaz is easy, it's accessible via various different routes and modes of transport. Flights
Please look at fight finder for the best flight options.
Driving from Calais
Head in the direction of Paris. You will reach the first toll on the A26 (take ticket only) within 30mins of driving. After 2 hours pay toll fee of approx EUR19.
Follow signs to Lyon on the A4 then A26.
Look for the signs to Geneva and follow them.
Then head towards Chamonix Mont-Blanc and take exit 19 toward Cluses.
Head towards Morzine signs.
Exit Morzine on the D338 Rout D'Avoriaz.
Driving from Lyon
Avoriaz is located at 228 km from Lyon.
Leave Lyon and continue onto the E611straight on towards Geneva
Continue along A40 and head towards Chamonix
Head towards N205 towards Morzine
Continue along D902 past Taninges and Les Gets.
At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and continue along D28/Route De La Combe A Zore.
Pass Morzine and follow the sign post to Avoriaz.
Driving from Geneva
Avoriaz is located at 80 km from Geneva.
Take E712 for 2.5 km and pass Annemasse.
Then take E25 for 36 km and pass Scionzier.
Continue along D902 for 24 km and pass Les Gets.
Pass Morzine and take the D354/Place De L'Office Du Tourisme.
Then take Route Des Udrezants and turn left to get on Sentier De La Salle.
To exit Morzine, turn left to D338 Route D'Avoriaz and after that, take D338 for 14 km to arrive in the resort.
Coaches
Go to Eurolines www.eurolines.co.uk to look at the option of getting coaches to nearby cities. You will then need to take a local bus up to resort. Prices are around £100 return.
