Courchevel Information
Below is an outline of practical information to take with you on your ski holiday. From transport to lift passes, this useful information is well worth taking with you as it could make your lift slightly easier when arriving in Courchevel. Failing that, your chalet host will no doubt be able to fill you in on any other information should you need it when you arrive:
Lifts
You buy a reduced rate lift pass from the 5-11th December but the amount of lifts open will depend on the level of snow fall. The lifts officially open on the 18th December. Then from the 17-25th April you can again buy a reduced rate lift pass and then the lifts will close for the season on the 25th.
Buses
Courchevel has a regular free bus service linking the 4 levels of Courchevel. Buses run frequently and timetables are available from the Trans-Savoie offices. The journey time from Le Praz to Courchevel 1850 is approximately 25 minutes. You can of course easily use the lifts between Courchevels 1550 and 1850. The buses run regularly throughout the day, right up until late at night. You will not need to pay to use the ski buses, as they are provided free of charge throughout the ski season - even if you don't ski! This means you can also travel about in the evening to other parts of the resort, without worrying about how you’re going to get back home.
Parking
There is metered car parking from 7am to 8pm, but it is worth bearing in mind that the Police municipal are extremely vigilant!
There are 11 under ground car parks thorough in Courchevel, with 4 in Courchevel 1850 and 2 in 1650 that will accept cars for a 7 day stay. Prices are approximately 75 Euros in 1650 and 95 Euros in 1850.

Piste, lift and weather reports between 8am and 9am every morning, in particular an English Weather report at 8.45am. Also gives full details of what’s happening in and about the resort.
