Courchevel Resort Information
WiFi Access out and about
There is WiFi available in our chalets, but if you prefer to be out and about there is free access to the internet at the Tourism Offices and most hotels and bars offer WiFi, which some charge for. Most bars advertise their WiFi in their windows and require a code - it is always a good idea to buy a drink if you are using their WiFi.
Pistes & Connectability
Answer: It is very easy to get to Courchevel (1850) from Courchevel Moriond (1650), so don’t be put off if you are staying in 1650 and your ski school meeting point in the morning is in 1850. The free Navette shuttle bus that links all sections of Courchevel starts running from 1650 at approximately 07:20, so if you take the 08:50 bus from the centre of 1650 you will be in 1850 for 09:00. Bus timetables do change on some weeks of the season, so it is worth popping into the tourist office if you plan to use the bus a lot during the week.
Free Shuttle Buses
You can of course easily use the lifts between Courchevel 1550 and 1850 if you prefer, however the buses run regularly throughout the day, right up until late at night. You will not need to pay to use the ski buses, as they are provided free of charge throughout the season – even if you do not ski. This means that you can also travel in the evening to other parts of the resort, without worrying about how you are going to get home.
Although many of our chalets, apartments and hotels have their own private parking spaces for guests, there are 2 covered car parks in Courchevel 1650 and 6 covered car parks in Courchevel 1850 that are open to the public. The first hour is free in all of the covered car parks and you can park your car overnight between 19:00 – 08:00 for €1 per night.
As you enter the resort you will come across plenty of signs for parking, below are the maps of the car parks in Courchevel 1650 and 1850 and the parking prices for the 2012/2013 season.
