Based right in the heart of Jasper National Park, the unique alpine town of Jasper is a great place to escape and relax in an unpretentious and humble environment. The small population of 4,000 Canadians are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. The scenery is dramatic, but do not let that detract from the skiing. With a plethora of varied runs, Jasper has plenty of green and blue pistes in between a surprising number of blacks and off piste options.

The wildlife is hard to miss, with deer and elk wandering the valleys. The Rockies are also great for alternative outdoor activities such as dog sleds, ice walks and snow mobile rides. Surprisingly, winter is low season for Jasper as it is one of the best places to appreciate the Rockies during the summer. With an abundance of snow from the beginning of December right through to the end of April, Jasper is a must-visit ski resort in Canada.
