Les Deux Alpes Apres Ski and Nightlife
Les Deux Alpes is one of the liveliest of the French resorts, with plenty of bars, several of which stay open until the early hours. Les Deux Alpes is a party town and is renowned for its nightlife. There are 40 bars and pubs spread out along the narrow main street, all within staggering distance of each other.
Smokey Joe's
Smokey's is the main apres ski venue in the town, the bar has plasmas flat screen TV's showing all major sporting events. Smokey's also offers an excellent Tex-Mex menu which includes spicy ribs, wings, burgers and steaks. You can enjoy reduced priced drinks during happy hour from 6-8pm, whilst listening to the popular live music. Smokey's even has Guinness on tap and a huge selection of shooters, they are also well-known for their creative and tasty cocktails.

Smithy's tavern
This is the biggest bar in town, with room for 500 people spread over 2 floors, this bar is a worthy rival to Smokey's. Smithy's also serves an array of Tex-Mex food which include their fabulous fajitas. Smithy's stocks a wide range of British ales and has special offers on double shooters which draws in the younger crowed. Smithy's Tavern is a massive party venue and is still lively until 2am daily; on Wednesdays from 10pm live bands mix up the entertainment.

The Secret Bar
The Secret Bar has become to be known as an institution in Les Deux Alpes. Another of the Dicks Tea Bar franchise, it combines the resorts premier party bar with a busy and popular apres ski venue.This is a great bar to head to for apres ski, between 4pm and 6pm when live bands are playing and happy hours are in full flow. Happy hour includes deals such as 'Jug Hour' between 4pm-5pm 2 to 3 litre beer jugs are €15. The Secret Bar is also renowned for being one of the best venues for watching live sports in the resort.

Bar Rhumerie
This bar is famous in Les Deux Alpes for its rum shots, Bar Rhumerie does a roaring trade in popular flavoured bottles of rum which they serve with glasses and ice, costing €15. This is a great bar to go to during apres if you are in a large group and would like to sample the many varieties of flavoured rums.
O'Brian's Pub
The is Les Deux Alpes one and only Irish bar, no part town is complete without a lively Irish pub. This Irish bar proves very popular due to its drinks promotions during its lively happy hour, regular live music and the bar turns into a disco-bar after 10pm.

La Grotte du Yeti
This is part of the rapidly expanding bar chain already established in 8 French resorts. It has a good range of beers and cocktails, a variety of music and regular themed nights. This bar tends to attract a large number of Dutch/Danish, the bar is lively from late afternoon for apres ski all the way through to the early hours.

Pub le Windsor
This pub is a smaller, much quieter pub which is popular with the locals. This small bar with a big reputation has a huge selection of beers and whiskeys, more than 100 varieties of each! The bar has a cosy Gallic charm and stays open until late. It is a nice pub to go to if you are looking for a quieter drink in more relaxed surroundings, especially if you are a keen beer or whiskey drinker.

L'Avalanche
This is the main nightclub in Les Deux Alpes, located at the Venosc end of town, next door to Smithy's Tavern. The nightclub caters to a cosmopolitan European crowed. The DJ plays a variety of cheesy songs, this place is lots of fun nevertheless and dancing continues on until 4am.
