Les Deux Alpes Restaurants
As you would expect for such a well-established ski area there are a good number of on-piste restaurants generally located at all major lift junctions, meaning you are never far away from a refuelling or refreshment point. Most of the mountain restaurants are a la carte but some do offer a self-service option. Although the restaurants are located on the busy interchanges, and are large and robust venues, they do make a real effort to provide a service based on traditional regional styles and standards.
Le Diable au Coeur
Situated at the top of the Diable Gondola, this restaurant has excellent food and is a wonderful mountain restaurant. The dishes are all very individual and the menu includes foie gras, fresh fish and succulent cuts of meat. Inevitably you do pay the price for the pleasure of the fine cuisine and superb service. The restaurant also boasts a large sun terrace where you can sit back and enjoy your leisurely lunch whilst basking in the sun and watching the world go by.

Chalet la Toura
Situated in the middle of the domain, this restaurant is similarly excellent to the Le Diable au Coeur, just on a larger scale. Chalet la Toura is a large rustic cabin style restaurant which offers fine foods and a beautiful sun terrace. The menu includes tasty regional dishes such as raclettes and fondues as well as a selection of great pizzas. Due to its convenient location it does tend to get rather busy around lunch time, so again it is worth booking ahead for a table.

Le Panoramic
Worth knowing about is the table service half of the Panoramic at Toura, it is well known for its mouth watering cuisine, it does however tend to get very busy so it may be worth booking a table ahead. It is situated at the mid-station of the Jandri Express. As the name suggests this restaurant has wonderful views over to the Bellecombes area towards the summit of Tete Moute. The inside boasts a beautiful traditional log fire adding to the cosy atmosphere of the restaurant, so you get sit next to the blazing fire on those cold snowy days and warm up. You can enjoy either food from the self service section of the restaurant, or if you are looking to enjoy a long leisurely lunch you can sit upstairs and select a dish from the a la carte menu.

Chalet la Fee
Situated in the La Fee valley, this is a quiet restaurant which is unusual for Les Deux Alpes. The fact that the restaurant is quiet makes the peaceful terrace so appealing, with it sublime south-facing view of the Romanche and Ferrand valleys. Inside there is a warm and welcoming atmosphere with good home-cooked food and traditional local specialities such as raclettes and fondues as well as a selection of tasty pasta dishes.

La Patache
This is a great little restaurant that offers excellent food and is really good value for money. Situated at Les Cretes, La Patache is well-known for its warming tasty soups which can be enjoyed on cold snowy day from only €5, while other dishes on the menu such as lamb curry, chicken stew and the house speciality - tartiflette all start at about €10.

Les Deux Alpes village many street has more than 60 restaurants for you to choose from. Most of the excitement can be found at the southern end of town in the Alpe de Venosc area, the vast array of restaurants offer something for everyone, ranging from good value Tex-Mex bars to traditional places serving fondues and raclettes.
Le Petit Polyte
Chalet Mounier's Petit Polyte restaurant has a high reputation and is one of the best gourmet restaurants in Les Deux Alpes. This is a special hotel restaurant that prepares beautiful regional cooking. Served as a set menus featuring 5, 7 or even 9 courses (€40, €55 or €65), typical specialities include fillet of beef with truffle juice on a bed of boletus mushrooms. The chocolate box decor of the restaurant with its cosy lounges and the savoury aromas of the gastronomic restaurant add to its charm.

Bel'Auberge
Located in the hotel Bel'Auberge, this restaurant serves delicious, classic French cuisine, which is simply superb. All then dishes are tastefully presented in an inspirational, contemporary style. You can expect to pay between €35 and €40 for three courses and wine, which is good value for money considering you are eating at one of best gourmet restaurants in Les Deux Alpes.

Chardon de Bois
If you are looking to try some tasty regional dishes this is the place to go. They produce some of the tastiest regional cuisines, with lots to choose from, including fondues, raclettes and grilled meats cooked on an open charcoal fire. Most main courses will cost you around €15 which are very good value.

If you are looking for a more informal restaurant which offers delicious food at good value this is a great place to go. This warm and cosy restaurant offers a novel free black cab taxi service with pick-up and drop-off. They serve their famous wood-fired pizzas as well as a tempting menu. Mains such as lamb shank or grilled beef will cost you approximately €12.

Creperie Crepes a Go Go
This restaurant proves popular with both the locals and visitors, serving excellent crepes as the name suggests. They also serve traditional local dishes such as reclette and fondue, their tartiflette is 'superb' and with a Leffe beer only costs €12. It is worth booking ahead to ensure you get a table.

L'Etable
It is a friendly little pizzeria that serves the best pizzas in town. If you are looking for a cheap and simple meal this is a great little place to go to, with their welcoming atmosphere, great pizzas you can't go wrong. There is also a take-out service if you want to enjoy your pizza with your feet up.
