Ski Holidays in Les Menuires Ski Resort

Situated at 1800m, just below Val Thorens, Les Menuires is part of the extensive Three Valleys area. This resort offers excellent snow and fantastic skiing for all abilities with nursery slopes in the village, wide pisted runs for intermediate skiers, challenging black runs and vast areas of off piste for more confident skiers. Lifts radiate out in all directions from the village giving quick access to the enormous ski area. Being a purpose built resort, most accommodation offered is ski in / ski out and is therefore popular with families and groups.

Although Les Menuires is sometimes described as quiet, there are certainly plenty of bars to choose from and a couple of lively nightclubs for those wanting to dance into the night. As well as the varied nightlife, non-ski activities add to its attraction. The resort boasts an excellent, brand new leisure complex, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, squash court, table tennis to name a few of the services on offer. With plenty of activities aimed specifically at children - fun park with trampolines, bouncy castle, rubber ring tobogganing - you can be sure none of the family will miss out.

Les Menuires has over 90 shops and services and also holds regular outdoor markets during the season where you can buy local produce. Most of the accommodation in Les Menuires is self-catering and therefore there are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants offering traditional Savoyard dishes to delicious stone-baked pizzas.  With 18 mountain restaurants in this valley alone there should be something to suit all tastes during the day as well.
