Meribel is a fantastic resort for children, and there are some fantastic childcare options.  Powder White doesn't provide childcare or hold any responsibility for your childcare, but we can speak highly of the recommendations below.

Merinannies acts as an agent for self employed nannies – booking fee payable to Merinannies. Babysitting services are available outside of the Nanny Service hours. Must be arranged in advance.

Private nanny service available on weekly basis
3 months – 12 years old
Nannies are available Sunday to Friday and must be booked for full week
Nannies normally work 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, with the exception of one half day off during the week (to be taken at an agreed convenient time)
Approx 850 euros / week for one child. 94 euros per additional child.
Snow Club Service: Crèche based just outside the centre of Les Allues on Route Saint Joseph

3 months to 7 years
Kids Etc vehicles pick-up and drop-off at various meeting points throughout the Meribel Valley. Kids Etc also offers a ski school pick-up service at 11.15 -11.30 am and 1.15-1.30 pm.
Open 6 days per week: Sunday to Friday:
Full day 9am – 5pm
¾ day 11.15am – 5pm (to fit in with 2 hour ski lessons)
Afternoon 1.15pm – 5pm (to fit in with 4 hour ski lessons)
Snow Club provides a cooked lunch each day, with snacks and drinks supplied mid-morning and mid-afternoon

Approx prices:

6 x full day: 510 euros (7 euros / day: Cooked lunch and snacks)
6 x ¾ day: 438 euros (7 euros / day: Cooked lunch and snacks)
6 x afternoons: 336 euros
Pick-up and Drop-off Service: 19 euros per day

Jelly and Ice Cream provide childcare in the form of private nannies and babysitting services day or evening.  The service is available to virtually all age groups of children, from as young as 6 weeks up to pre-teens and older.
 
Prices:
1 Half day (9:00-13:00 or 13:00-17:00) €84 (€93 peak)
6 Half days €458 (€515 peak)
1 Full day (based on 8 hours per day) €138 (€158 peak)
1 Full week (8 hours per day or 6 days) €791 (€910 peak)
 
Babysitting services are available outside of the nanny service (7pm). Prices vary from €15.50/hour for 1-3 children before midnight to €17.50/hour after midnight.
