Selva Gardena is situated at an altitude of 1563m and has direct access to the extensive Dolomiti Superski area, the largest ski area in Europe and home to the UNESCO-protected Sella Massif, arguably one of the most beautiful mountain ranges in Europe. These jagged peaks created the Dolomites' famous ski circuit, the Sella Ronda.  Selva itself has some fantastic local pistes and the huge area is sure to satisfy all skiing abilities.

Selva is a traditional town, formerly part of Austria, and you will find many similarities in this resort to its neighbouring country, including the language and buzzing après scene. Go to bars La Stua or Bar Saltos for a refreshing Austrian Radler or a warming Italian Bombardino.
