Tignes Ski Resort

Fantastic resort for those wishing to maximise ski time
Great range of activities to choose from on and off the piste
Doorstep skiing into the huge Espace Killy area

Not as pricey as neighbouring Val d'Isère
Abundant off piste for advanced skiers
Off Piste:

Skiing comes first in Tignes and it is often regarded as the mature sibling of Val d’Isère, being part of the extensive Espace Killy ski area. This lively resort is divided into 3 main areas all interlinked by an excellent 24 hour bus service with Val Claret, the highest part of the resort, offering the best access to the skiing at the foot of the Grande Motte glacier. Le Lavachet has the chairlift links to Tovière and connections into Val d'Isère.

Bustling Tignes Le Lac is the most central with runs leading back into the resort, twice weekly markets, a large number of bars, restaurants and shops and an ultra modern sports centre. Be prepared for long days on the mountain – but if you have the energy left there are plenty of activities to consider. You will never get bored in Tignes when not on the piste
choose between shops, paragliding, ice diving, bars, 2 cinemas, bowling and much more.

Tignes' fabulous high altitude, snow-sure location caters for all levels of skier and snowboarder. It boasts gentle nursery runs for beginners, over 300km of marked piste and unlimited off-piste skiing for the more adventurous.

If you decide to stay in Tignes, we have a range of self-catered apartments to rent so you can find a great place to stay without breaking the bank.
