Tignes - Apres Ski and Nightlife

There are a great range of bars in Tignes and there is plenty going on to keep you entertained each evening.

 

Alpaka Cocktail Bar

Located in Tignes le Lac this bar opens its doors early for après ski and most people tend to head there for their happy hour between 4pm and 6pm where selected drinks are heavily discounted. As the name suggests this bar produces some creative and adventurous but tasty cocktails. The bar also shows most of the major sporting events on their big screen TVs, which tends to draw the crowds in.

Crowded House

This bar situated in the heart of Val Claret, another franchise of Dicks T Bar, proves popular due to its lively atmosphere which is created by the live music which is played during the evening. Later on in the evening a regular DJ plays music that has people up and dancing into the early hours of the morning. The Crowded House also shows all the sports matches.

Drop Zone Cafe

This is a lively bar located in Val Claret. There is free Wifi access and billards for you to use. The bar tends to become rather busy during the hours of 4pm and 6pm, this is when they have their happy hour drink promotions. The après ski in the Drop Zone is energetic and the atmosphere stays animated throughout the evening until the early hours of the morning.

La Grotte du Yeti

This bar is best après ski bar in town. This is an international bar which welcomes everyone, it is known for being the most animated bar in town. You can even purchase a Yeticard which will then provide you with heavily discounted drinks, which can be used anytime of the day not just during happy hour. The bar doesn't look much from the outside but inside is where all the partying begins, with a vast selection of international beers and numerous shots to be tasted.

La Palette de Boulele

This is a beautiful wine bar which stocks all regional products. This is one of the only wine bars in Tignes, the wine bar has a huge choice of Savoy products. This is a great bar to go for drinks if you are looking to sample some of the local wines and have a drink in a relaxed and comfortable environment.

Le Saloon

Le Saloon is situated in Val Claret and is open daily from 11am to 1:30am. It is a stylish cocktail bar, that also shows all major sporting events and even has theme nights. The bar not only serves a huge range of cocktails but has a great games area which has a couple of pool tables, which tends to Tel: attract the crowds in early on.

Le TC's

Situated in the heart of Le Lavachet, TC's is busy all day, with people coming in for happy hour drinks during après and not leaving until much later in the evening. The bar shows sports and has live music a couple of nights a week. They have a regular DJ that keeps everyone on the dance floor until much later in the evening. They serve a wide selection of drinks, but they are perhaps best known for all the various beers they have.

Les Caves du Lac

This is the best known nightclub in Tignes, Les Caves is open everyday from 10pm to 5am. The nightclub has an exceptional sound system, which makes it the best place in Tignes to head to after all the bars have run their course. There is something going on each night in Les Caves, a different form of entertainment to keep you happy. This is definitely worth a visit.
