Pistes & Connectability

For someone not used to the squiggly lines on a piste map, here are the colours of piste explained. Everyone will have their favourite pistes and discovering them is part of the excitement, but here are a few of our favourites that we recommend.

Type of run
Our Favouites
Very easy nursery slopes for beginner level, normally very smooth and flat

Digue and Lavachet

Easy runs with a slight gradient increase and a few more bumps and uneven ground that may test your balance
Petit Col and Lac
Suitable for the intermediate level skier who is confident on steeper slopes with increased bumps, can be challenging in places
Myosotis and Bleuets
For advanced and experienced skiers only, who can master very difficult, steep and uneven terrain
Pramecou and Trolles
Marked, off piste runs, which are not patrolled. Only recommended for advanced skiers. Closed in adverse weather conditions
Oeillet and Epilobe
Slope set out in racing style with moguls, banked curves and extreme curves
Goodyear and Jeep

A free shuttle bus runs daily between all resorts of Tignes.
