New Generation
New Generation is a small British run ski and snowboard school based out of the Fat Face shop in central Val d’Isère.
New Generation enjoys an excellent reputation amongst the International ski community. New Generation was voted ‘No.1 Ski School’ by the ‘Which Guide’ and the ‘Snow Awards’. Now in their 12th year in the Alps, they have earned an excellent reputation amongst the international ski community. The handpicked team of fully qualified instructors offer private lessons, a number of beginner to intermediate group lessons in the morning, and afternoon technical performance clinic for intermediate to advanced skiers looking to fine tune their technique. Children’s ski courses also run during peak holiday periods, with the emphasis on having fun and learning.
New Generation also cater for snowboarders, whether you are a beginner or interested in improving your performance in the park, they employ one of only a handful of fully qualified British snowboard instructors in the Alps. He gets booked up very quickly so book early to avoid disappointment.
New Generation are introducing for 2010/11 season their PRO range; which utilises the experience of their fully qualified instructors, making it unique to New Generation. The range provides clients access to the specialist skills and knowledge of their instructors. PRO range offers clients 3 new and different options at a very competitive price.

Oxyene Ski and Snowboard School
Oxygene have been operating in Val d’Isere since 1997 and has been growing from strength to strength each year. At present they host a team of 80 instructors across La Plagne, Val d’Isere, Courchevel and Meribel. All their instructors speak English as a first or second language along with many other European languages.
There team of instructors comprises of various nationalities including French, Italian, British and Swiss, all in possession of the official French skiing diploma which is the highest qualification accessible in Europe. Considered one of the best ski schools of its generation, Oxygene is a member of the ESI (Ecole de Ski Internationale) which groups 90 ski schools across France and Europe, and stands strong as a symbol of quality and professional service. Oxygene continues to innovate and improve, bringing both fun and safety to skiers and snowboarders alike.
Oxygene run a variety of adult and children’s group lessons throughout the season, depending upon your level, they stress the importance of starting off in a group corresponding to your level. They also offer private lessons both in the mornings and afternoons. A private lesson offers more flexibility; you can take a family outing, get a technical brush-up, or regain lost confidence – it’s up to you. Oxygene also run several snowboarding lessons ranging from complete beginners to those extreme riders looking to tackle couloirs and off-piste.
