Chalets de la Marine
Situated in the heart of Val Thorens, on the Dalles piste, this restaurant offers dinners 2 different dining experiences; traditional restaurant and the self-service restaurant. The traditional restaurant proposes the finest French cuisine, served in a wooden Savoyard chalet. You can enjoy this fine cuisine sat on the restaurants terrace which provides exceptional panoramic views of the mountains. The a la carte menu includes duck cottage pie with truffles, as well as a selection of traditional local dishes such as tartiflette and fondue. In the lower part of the chalet the charming and friendly atmosphere you can enjoy the fine food the self-service restaurant has to offer, the pizzas are well renowned.

Les Chalets du Thorens
Situated at the base of the Moraine chairlift, in the middle of the Val Thorens ski area. The location of the restaurant coupled with the large sun terrace guarantees fabulous views of the Val Thorens ski domain. Les Chalets du Thorens is a friendly and welcoming, they offer a selection of cuisines to choose from including; a pizzeria, 2 Belgian waffle shops, 2 snack bars, a self-service as well as a traditional restaurant. There is something for everyone, whether you are looking for a quick bite to eat or for a long leisurely lunch.

Chalets des 2 Ours
Located on the Blanchot run in the Boismint sectors. The restaurant has a beautiful sun terrace with excellent views, where you can bask in the sun whilst you enjoy your leisurely lunch or quick snack. It does tend to get rather busy on days when the sun is shining, so it is well worth booking a table. The food is to a high standard and is reasonably priced, they also offer a children's menu.

Le Caribou
This restaurant was formally known as Le Genepi , it can be found on the Genepi run which is in the Moraine sector of Val Thorens. The restaurant is perfect for those cold snowy days, with its striking central log fire surrounded by tables where you can sit and eat lunch whilst warming up. The food is cooked to a high standard but you do pay for the quality, the food is rather expensive.

Chalets des 2 Lacs
The restaurant is known for a being the best slope side restaurant in Val Thorens. It is located at the top of the 2 Lacs chair, making it easily accessible to all ability level of skiers. This is a pretty chalet styles restaurant has a huge sun terrace with brilliant panoramic views of the valley. They serve excellent hearty traditional cuisine in generous portions, their menu includes a selection of pizzas, steaks, tartiflette and fondues and their well known French onion soup. As the restaurant is well known it is worth booking ahead for a table if you don't want to be disappointed.

Au Village Val Thorens
Situated in the heart of Val Thorens the restaurant offers traditional Savoyard cooking and specialities in comfortable and welcoming settings. The menu includes fondue, tartiflette and hot stone, they also offer coq au vin and ribs. The decor is that of a typical Savoyard chalet; wood and stone. This is a great restaurant to try if you are looking to dine in a typical alpine restaurant and sample some of the local dishes.

Chamois D'Or
Chamois D'Or and the team will welcome you into their beautifully decorated cottage, made from wood and stone. Taking centre place of the restaurant is the open fire place, which is appealing on a cold winters night. Chef Jean Marc will delight you with his varied and tasty dishes, his cooking combines traditional dishes, specialities and new world flavours. They also have a selection of delicious pizzas for you to choose from. Chamois D'Or can be found on the edge of the rond point piste in the main centre of Val Thorens.

John's American Restaurant
This American style Tex-Mex restaurant located in the heart of Val Thorens. They claim to serve the best home-made burgers, barbecue, spareribs, steaks, Mexican fajitas and much more. They serve a range of international beers and numerous spirits. You can expect to pay €16 approximately for your main meal, this is a great place to go if you are looking for a lively restaurant that serves an alternative to alpine cuisine.
