From Calais
· Toll will probably amount to around €60 each way, varying a little depending on your destination and route
· From Calais take the A26 to Troyes
· The A26 becomes the A5 to Langres
· Take the A31 Dijon
· Take the A39 to Bourg-en-Bresse
· Join the A40 towards Geneva
· Turn off onto the A42 to Lyon
· Take A43 from Lyon to Chambery and Albertville and follow signs to Moutiers and later Val Thorens
From Geneva
· On leaving the airport follow the green signs for France.
· Then take the N201 towards Annecy.
· After passing Annecy take the A43 towards Albertville.
· Just before Albertville follow signs to Chambery.
· Then follow signs for Moutiers
· Val Thorens is sign posted as you enter Moutiers
From Lyon
· After leaving Lyon, follow the green signs for A43 towards Chambery.
· At Chambery follow signs for the A430 and Albertville
· From Albertville follow signs to Moutiers
· From Moutiers follow the signs to Val Thorens
Coaches
Go to Eurolines http://www.eurolines.co.uk to look at the option of getting coaches to near by cities. You will then need to take a local bus up to resort.
Prices are around €100 return.
