Powder White holidays are sold exclusive of travel, which gives you the flexibility to choose how you want to travel, when you want to travel and most importantly from which airport you wish, and to which airport you wish.
Flights
Powder White hold an Air Travel Organiser's Licence granted by The Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 6860. We can offer you a range of different flight options and whether you prefer to book low cost airline flights yourself or have us book charter or scheduled seats, executive jets and helicopters on your behalf, you can choose the most suitable options available. Also, if you are travelling from outside of the UK you have the freedom to book a direct flight to your destination without having to go via London, therefore saving you time, money and a unnecessary additional journey. (NB. In the unlikely event of our insolvency and where flights have been provided by us as part of a package, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.
Eurostar has become a viable alternative to flying and now offers both a day service and an overnight service to both Moutiers (for Courchevel) and Bourg St Maurice (for Val d’Isere). We can help you book your train journey and also organise a transfer from the station to the resort if you wish (see below).
Self Drive
Some people prefer to just drive themselves. As there is private parking with the majority of our chalets, bringing your own car is now an increasingly popular option. If you need to cross the Channel, we can help you find your preferred crossing at your preferred time, and be able to inform you of the most cost effective routes. We will furnish you with a travel plan from your front door to the doorstep of the chalet, with estimated journey times, estimated fuel consumption, toll fares and even tell you where the speed cameras are on the way.
Transfers to and from Resort
Once you have arrived at the airport or station of your choice, you can choose how you would like to get to the resort. We can arrange private transfers that will take you and you party direct to the chalet. Alternatively, you can hire a car and we will provide you with clear directions and approximate costs so you can get to the resort quickly and easily. There are numerous other ways of getting to the resorts, including public buses, trains, shared transfers, and even by helicopter. Whatever you requirements or budget, we can organise the best travel solution to meet your needs.
