St Anton is recognised as the party resort of Europe and you really are spoiled for choice both on the slopes and in the village itself. Après ski is taken very seriously in St Anton – on the piste and in resort. The party literally goes from sunset to sunrise, with numerous ‘Jagerbombs’ being consumed. There are approximately 22 cafes and 14 bars and pubs throughout the area.
Heustadl
All the après ski takes place above the Galzig, starting with the Heustadl which you will encounter as you head down Blue 1. This bar is more family friendly and tame compared to a lot of the other bars. It is visited by most nationalities and there is live music every day except Sunday when there is a DJ. There is a large outside terrace which attracts all the sun lovers, who enjoy having a relaxing drink in the sun.
The Krazy Kanguruh
Considered one of the best bars for Après Ski, but involves a short ski down at the end, a challenge for some! Run by two time world champion Mario Matt, you can expect to find a young crowd with an English and Scandinavian mix. Great place to be when it all kicks off and even staff are partying to the full. It stays open from 10am right through to 8pm, so skiing down in the dark is par for the course.
Taps
Taps can be found next to the Krazy Kangaruh, and for many years has been a favourite haunt of locals and ski instructors. Taps is run by Egon and Ursula is pretty much a law unto itself, it will be open to until at least 8pm but can quite often still be going strong at 11pm. The local drink of Schnapps is a favourite and is often consumed in large quantities.

Mooserwirt
Is at the top of the list. It packs in hundreds of skiers and snowboarders, drinking beer and schnapps while a DJ plays euro remixes and dance tunes. It's located a few hundred feet from town off the main run. It fills up with revelers as soon as the lunch trade finishes – reputedly dispensing more beer than any other bar in Austria. Waiters plough through the crowds, laden with trays of beers for sale. Just watch the place fill up to the point that you can hardly move. This bar is not to be missed, although try and remember where you left your skis outside as there will be hundreds of pairs.

Underground
Located just before the Galzigbahn to the right of the piste is the Underground. It is run by an eccentric Australian lady called Joan. There is a great après ski atmosphere, with live music most afternoons and happy hour 3pm to 6pm. Although the bar is small you can always find a table to sit at and enjoy the live music, this is a good place to go if you have kids but still want to enjoy the après atmosphere.

Anton Bar
Situated at the bottom of the Galzigbahn making it the perfect bar to have a drink whilst watching the world go by. They even have sheepskin on the seats outside making it a cosy place to enjoy an après drink. This bar tends to draw in all the ski instructors as they get cheap beers.

Piccadilly
This one of the only “après” ski bars in the centre of the village as most of them are located on the slopes themselves or at the bottom of the Galzigbahn. Piccadily is a British-style pub with an explosive atmosphere at après-ski. They have live music from 4pm daily provided by Gunar who is now in his 16th season in St Anton, which draws the crowds of people coming off the slopes.

Fang House
The only après ski bar in the Nasserein end is the Fang House. This is a small bar with a small sun terrace located at the bottom of the Nasserein gondola. If you are staying in the Nasserein area it is worth a stop at the end of the day, they often have promotions of Jagarbombs. There is a lively atmosphere
Once you have been back to your chalet or hotel had a shower and something to eat it is time to head back into town to see the nightlife of St Anton. However you may want to watch out for those people who haven’t made it back home from après. You can usually find them stumbling down the street carrying their skis.
Scotty’s
The meeting place after a day of skiing. Enjoy the music, the friendly British staff and terrific atmosphere. Happy Hour every day! Huge selection of cocktails, shots a favourite with the seasonnaires is the long island iced tea served in a pint glass. There are 2 table football tables which add to the entertainment of the bar. You can find Scotty’s in the pedestrian zone, just turn down the narrow street between the Sport hotel and the town hall. Scotty’s is just across from the pharmacy.

The Funky Chicken
Inexpensive roast chicken restaurant, bar, Indian curries, funky music and endless extreme ski DVDs are shown. The Funky Chicken later in the evening turns into one of St Anton’s best night clubs, where dancing on the tables is a must and frozen Margaritas are free flowing. The hang out attracts a younger crowed, who can often be found in crazy fancy dress. Open daily. 'The Funky Chicken' is located in the pedestrian zone, considered one of the best spots to be after a day of fine skiing in St. Anton.

Post Keller
From 9 pm onwards, super atmosphere with live music every day. Post Keller is located next door to Piccadilly (they are run under the same management), Post Keller is the nightclub and Piccadilly is more of a bar. Post Keller carries on until 4am with Australian DJ Andi Joseph. It is always busy, even though there is an entrance fee, although ladies do get in for free.

The Kandahar
This is where you go dancing until 06.00 in the morning. However this bar is one of the most expensive for drinks you will end up paying €12 for a single spirit and mixer.Throughout the season there are a few guest DJs such as Tim Sheridan, long-time Space Ibiza DJ. You will find it in the pedestrian zone, next to the Sport hotel.

Bobo’s
Tex mex food and cocktail bar. This bar has live music three times a week, and this bar really does bring in the crowds. Probably one of the best bars in St Anton due to its lively atmosphere. Opening hours: daily from 05.00 pm - 02.00 located in the pedestrian zone.

Bar Cuba
Open daily from 04.00 pm - 03.00 am. Happy Hour 04.00 pm - 05.00 pm. Laid back apres-ski and party atmosphere in the evenings. Good music, tasty snacks and friendly staff. This bar proves to be the most popular to watch sports matches, and tends to get very busy during these periods, so get there early if you want to get a good spot.
