Lifts
With skiing up to an altitude of over 2800m, 280km of pistes, and 3 weather fronts bringing an avergae annual snowfall of over 7m; St Anton is one of the most snow-sure resorts in Europe. This means the lifts are open from early December right through to late April every year, although if the snow is good you can get an early lift pass in November or a late one in May.
Buses
Everyone with a valid lift pass can use the great bus system for free. The main bus station is at the bottom of the Galzig and Rendle Bubble lifts and the main routes go in the direction of St Christoph and St Jacob, so whhichever end of town you're staying in you can catch a bus.
Between 8am - 10pm the buses run every 10 minutes
Between 10pm - 3am they run every hour
Parking
St Anton has a strictly pedestrianised town centre, so it really is advisable to walk around the resort and take the free buses as much as possible. However, there are a couple of car parks to use, if you are skiing just for the day it is advisabble to park at the Rendl-Bergbahnen base as this is just a short walk to the Gondolas, parking here is quite expensive though. If you want a space for the week you can park in the recommended covered car park,Klaus Eiter, which is approximately €70 for the week.
Info-Team
Information on the pistes. The information team of the Arlberg lifts offers a special service: during the entire winter season, skiers wearing Orange / Black ski suits with ‘Info Team’ can be found at the crossroads for information, advice and help.

There are 4 doctors surgeries in St Anton, but do make sure you have medical insurance before visiting any of them.

The chemist in St.Anton is situated just off the main pedestrian area behind the Sport hotel, look out for the large green cross at the top of the lane.
