What's Happening?

New Glading Areas - slopes crew have been busy selectively clearing trees in specific on-mountain zones to make way for new ski areas. While the primary focus of the efforts are to remove beetle kill and/or dangerous trees and lower our risk of forest fires, the work opens up some fun new gladed terrain to explore. The work has been completed in and around the run ‘Three Bears’ on Sundance mountain.

Pistes in Sun Peaks

Sun Peaks has well-designed their trails which mean that intermediate and advanced skiers have a wonderful mixture of runs to choose from. From our experience; Sundance and Morrisey have loads of blue runs with some easy glades for those that like carving around trees. Tod is also great for intermediates, but does step it up a notch with some black bowls - perfect for the slightly more ambitious skier. Crystal Bowl is our favourite for its terrain and, obviously, its great name. Here you won’t suffer from extremely cold temperatures, but you'll still be able to experience the wonderfully dry, fluffy powder that rivals even the best snow in Canada.

Our favourite runs at Sun Peaks

Green

Unbroken piste from peak to base. This run is great for everyone to enjoy.

Blue

Sundance

Red
