And we are jumping for joy

UK Testing Requirements have been lowered

Great news everyone. We are seeing a huge bounce back in confidence following recent changes to UK testing. Pre-UK arrival tests are no longer required. And the Day 2 PCR test has been been lowered to a lateral flow. Please note though, you cannot use a free NHS one. And if you do return a positive lateral flow, you will be required to take an NHS PCR test.

The British are still prevented from holidaying in France. It is however open to other nations. Hopes are high that at the end of this week (ie. by Friday 14th January) the French government will make a decision on when they will finally reopen their borders. Once they do, there are likely to be a testing requirements in place and it goes without saying that you are should be double vaccinated and boosted. In Austria, this is now the only way to enter for travellers aged 12 & over.

We believe that we will once again be skiing in France from the weekend of 22nd/23rd January – let’s hope so! For those who have upcoming holidays, we recommend you sit tight and hold your nerve. You will be skiing.

In all other locations including Austria, the 2021/22 season is continuing normally and conditions are currently excellent. There was some warm weather over the festive period, however a cold front is now moving in and a lot of snow is forecast over the coming days.

We have some great availability in France, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and North America so please get in touch and we’ll help get you on your way soon.

Exciting Times Ahead!
See you out there… Yay
