Snowstorm 2018 was the time when 2m of snow fell in 48-hours! It was reported that this is only seen once in a generation and I cannot remember the last time I saw conditions like it.
But the good news is, it’s all calming down now and the sun is shining on the Alps most of this week. So dust of your boots, pack your bag and grab a last minute ski holiday deal.
Here is a visual round-up of what the snowstorm of 2018 has done to our ski resorts.
The Rollercoaster Chairlift…
Avalanche Destroys Main Road To Zermatt
Tignes – Snowed Under
Val d’Isere – Fluffy Pillows
Val Thorens – Snow, Glorious Snow
Courchevel – Snowmageddon!
Alpe d’Huez – Ski-In, Dive-Out
Although all this powder looks incredible to ski on, you need to make sure you know what you are doing first by learning the Essential Off-Piste Safety Tips and then you can discover the best resorts to go off-piste skiing.
