Téléfondue in Meribel
Why not try traditional mountain food in the sky. No, I’m not talking about the aeroplane food! You can indulge in a delicious fondue with 4 friends while taking in the breathtaking views of Meribel.
There are 4 dates this winter 2018 costing €79 per person:
30th January – sold out!
The soirée starts at 19:30 with welcome drinks and a soup and condiments bar, then between 20:00-22:30 you’ll lap the gondola as you enjoy dinner. From 23:00 there’s an after party of sorts at the bottom of the slopes, where you can enjoy dessert and after dinner drinks.

A fantastic ski-in-ski-out suntrap terrace, great food and the wildest après-ski parties in Meribel as the sun goes down. You need to be sure of making advance bookings if you want to get a seat outside as it is hugely popular with British visitors.
You can either go to the snack bar that offers a range of hot paninis or if you are looking for something a bit more special then you should try their a la carte menu in the restaurant upstairs, with the signature dish of duck leg confit on rosti with roasted radiccio and redcurrants. The Rond Point is located just below the mid-point of the Rhodos gondola.

This is the restaurant of Chalet Marie-Blanche, and has an excellent reputation. Just a few metres from the pistes (sign-posted on the right-hand side of the Doron run into resort, just below the Adret chairlift), this restaurant offers a good self-service selection and excellent food at a reasonable price.

Near the mid station of the Rhodos Bubble and Le Rond Point, this is a great spot for pedestrian, beginners and more advanced skiers to meet up for lunch. However, it is a much-loved mountain restaurant, so make sure you book ahead.
The Telebar is also a lovely place to stop for vin chaud, as there are 2 large, beautiful fireplaces to warm up by. One sits in the glass and wrought iron in the centre of the lounge, and the other a traditional chimney piece in the dining room, both of which add to the homely atmosphere.

Lifts; Tougnete1. Basic self-ser vice restaurant. The menu is typical mountain food, regular features are – spag bol, salads and omelette with chips. This is your standard mountain restaurant, there isn’t much atmosphere or anything that makes this restaurant special.

This a good value self-service lunch stop. Nestled into the mountain near the Combes lift and in a quiet spot, it seems to be often missed by passing skiers. However, it is a great value self-service restaurant with more basic dishes right up to gourmet cuisine and carefully selected wines. During the day you can enjoy drinking with friends, savouring home-made pastries or pancakes, whilst lounging on deckchairs on the south-facing terrace.

This is a cosy wooden restaurant with a straightforward menu. The terrace makes it a perfect stop when the afternoon sun is on this side of the Meribel valley. Watch out for the building as you approach the Burgin mid-station; it is tucked away just over the brow of the hill.

Just off the Aiglon piste, this is a good value self-service restaurant, but even though you queue to order the food, it is then brought to your table. Try and get one of the booths if you are sitting inside, they are quite cosy.

This large self-service restaurant has the usual menu at pretty much the usual prices. It is conveniently situated in the beginner area at the top of Rhodos 2 and is just a short walk for pedestrians. It remains a popular spot for its large terrace and good food.
