Seefeld non ski activities
Nothing is more thrilling than the pure beauty of the mountains. Those who take a step out of the world of man will discover unimagined worlds of nature.
Here are a few of the non-ski activities you can enjoy skiing in Seefeld this season.
Only four times a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) between 18:00 – 21:30 you can use the spectacular, perfectly groomed, three-kilometre long piste from Härmelekopf / Hochanger and enjoy the twilight skiing.
The sensational lighting conditions are just as good as daytime skiing but will give you a new feel to shredding the slopes.
This is a great experience for all the family to enjoy.
Olympiaregion Seefeld has a vast countryside making it the perfect resort to go exploring.
The immaculate natural surroundings make it easy to switch off and relax, to simply breathe in the fresh air and soak up the supernatural scenery – and perhaps stop for a snack at one of the rustic mountain huts.
This is perfect for all the family to enjoy and you can set off alone along the well-signposted routes or join a guided group, snowshoeing offers an exceptional experience you’ll remember for a long time to come.
Rental snowshoe equipment is available from the area’s numerous sports shops.
This has become one of the most popular recreational pursuits during the winter months.
It allows all ages to enjoy a traditional way to get down the mountain.
The Olympiaregion Seefeld boasts several fantastic natural toboggan runs set amid a stunning natural landscape.
We recommend the free Rodelbahan Muhlenberg route as it is 2.5km long and can be challenging in places.
If the weather gets bad, we have the solution!
The Olympiaregion Seefeld offers fun in the water for the whole family with two leisure pools, four outdoor pools, and two idyllic lakes.
Both leisure pool complexes have indoor and adjoining outdoor pools which are heated during the winter months.
In addition, they both offer fantastic amenities for children including adventure playgrounds, slides, and separate kiddies’ areas.
They also have spacious sauna facilities and themed tranquillity rooms for relaxation seekers.
If tobogganing doesn’t sound like your winter activity, what about Snow tubing.
This is perfect for adventure-loving families who want to try something new together.
What is it?
Well, it simply involves sitting on a giant inflatable rubber tyre and whizzing down a specially -prepared track with barriers on both sides – fun and action guaranteed!
Here you can enjoy a drink at the bar after making the most of the Seefeld stunning facilities.
Boasting a unique Alpine ambience on a sun-drenched mountain plateau at an elevation of 1,200 metres above sea level, the Olympiaregion Seefeld in Tyrol offers spa and well-being breaks for body, mind and soul amid an exclusive setting.
