General Terms & Conditions
We request that you please pay attention to the General Terms & Conditions that apply to your stay. Therefore, if you are staying on a catered package, the “self-catered services” need not apply, but all other Terms and Conditions may do so.
I. Definitions
“The Client(s)” - includes all individuals named in the booking and/or any
booking taken from a business, firm or corporate entity.
“Accommodation” - includes a chalet and any part thereof or other premises
provided for such purpose
“Party Leader” - includes the person signing the Terms and Conditions
and/or any business, firm or corporate entity making or placing a booking
and/or any person signing on behalf of the business, firm or corporate
entity.
II. Contract
A contract exists between the supplier and the Client(s) once a deposit of
35% of the full payment amount (total cost) have been received, and the
Terms and Conditions have been signed by the Party Leader. By signing these
conditions, the Party Leader guarantees payment in full of the total cost
and does so on behalf of and with the consent of all others for whom the
booking is made.
III. Services - Catered
The holiday price includes, return airport transfers, operated by our
transfer partners, on the booking day of arrival and departure for which 2
x 8-seater passenger vehicles are assigned per chalet. The transfers can be
split between 2 airports if required, these include Geneva, Lyon St.
Exupéry, Grenoble and Chambery, anything outside of this can be arranged
and will be chargeable. Also included is Dinner, Breakfast, Afternoon tea,
Pre-dinner champagne, Canapes, and are provided for the number of nights as
specified in your booking details. Bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic
drinks for the duration of the holiday. WIFI access, Satellite and Apple
TV. Dedicated driver service (7h30-10h30, 16h30-19h30), shared in-resort
driver service (10h30-16h30).
IV. Services - Self-Catered
The holiday price is for an exclusive self-catering booking of the entire
chalet. The Accommodation will be fully prepared with the bedrooms
configured and made up as required, including linen, throws and spare
pillows. Bathrooms are equipped with hand towels, bath towels, bathmats,
bathrobes, hair dryers and complimentary toiletries. In addition, the price
includes all local taxes and utility bills, cleaning and washing products,
laundry room and WIFI Internet access. A Meet and Greet service, as well as
an in-resort contact person, are also provided. Please speak to our Sales
team if you would like the option to a provided selection of wine as an
optional extra.
V. Payment
A 35% deposit will be taken for any advance bookings which are made more
than 8 weeks before your holiday. Thereafter, the remaining payment must be
received at least 8 weeks prior to arrival, and for bookings made within 8
weeks of arrival the full payment must accompany the signed Terms and
Conditions. All telephone, and email bookings will be held for 1 week
pending receipt of signed Terms and Conditions and deposits.
VI. Insurance
Insurance is an essential condition of booking. Evidence of adequate travel
and holiday insurance cover for each person named in the booking must be
provided to the supplier at least 8 weeks prior to arrival or at the time
of booking if later. The supplier reserves the right to terminate the
booking and impose cancellation charges in the event that such evidence is
not provided.
VII. Cancellations
Cancellations by the Client – All cancellations must be made in writing by
the Party Leader. The following standard cancellation charges apply:

VII.I Force Majeure
In the event of, or as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances
beyond our control which include but are not limited to acts of God, force
majeure, war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, terrorist activity,
industrial dispute, acts of government, natural or nuclear disaster,
adverse weather conditions, fire, closure of ports and airports or similar
events. The supplier reserves the right to cancel your holiday without
refund if it is impossible to deliver your holiday due to the circumstances
described.
VII.II Covid-19
If any of our resorts are subject to an administrative closure by the
French government due to COVID-19 / another pandemic, we will refund all
clients all monies paid in regard to a booking that is due to take place
after the date of closure.
If travel restrictions, imposed by your government or the French
government, prevent you from travelling to the resort to proceed with your
holiday, we will refund you in full. This includes if governments impose
quarantine on arrival in France or your home country.
In the event that the chalet you have booked is closed due to an official
confirmed case of Covid-19 or a similar pandemic then the supplier will
refund all monies received up until 24 hours prior to the booking date of
arrival.
If you fall ill with COVID-19 and / or any other illness and thereby have
to cancel your booking at any stage, this will be considered as a
cancellation due to illness and our usual terms and conditions will apply.
If there are no restrictions in place and you decide not to travel for a
COVID-19 or pandemic related reason, our usual terms and conditions apply.
For all other cancellations not related to Covid-19 or another pandemic our
normal Terms & Conditions apply.
VIII. Alterations
If you wish to alter any details of your booking the Party Leader must
request this in writing. If it is deemed by the supplier that it is not
practical or possible to make these requested changes, alterations may be
treated as a cancellation and cancellation charges applied at the
discretion of the supplier. Any alterations to the booking will not waiver
or alter these terms and conditions and they will continue to apply with
full effect.
IX. Refund/Services Not Used.
By completing a booking, you have paid to take the entire chalet and all
meals and services provided. Therefore, no empty bed discounts can apply,
nor can refunds be made in respect of meals or other services not taken.
X. Transfers and Delays
The holiday price includes return airport transfers, operated by our

Exupéry, Grenoble and Chambery, anything outside of this can be arranged
and will be chargeable. The supplier shall not be liable for any delays
prior to arrival at your accommodation or during the course of any holiday
brought about by weather conditions, strikes, traffic congestion or any
other circumstances whatsoever, whether foreseen or unforeseen.
XI. Responsibilities
You are responsible for your own insurance, travel documents and travel
arrangements. Transport (excluding transfers booked within the contract),
hotels, restaurants, sports and activity providers and other similar
services booked with third parties are not under our control and we will
not be liable for any act or omission on their part (this does not prevent
the Client(s) from pursuing a claim against a third party directly). We
request clients undertake to behave in such a way, as not to disrupt the
enjoyment of others or damage the reputation of the supplier. The supplier
reserves the right to terminate without compensation or refund the holiday
of any person not upholding this standard of behaviour and we shall have no
further obligation to that person. Any damage to the chalet or its contents
will be charged to the client and must be settled before departure.
XII. Indemnity/Damages
By signing the booking form, the Party Leader accepts the terms and
conditions on behalf of the Client(s), and further indemnifies the supplier
against any claims including legal costs made against the company by any
person, against actions that cause loss, damages and costs by the same
Client(s).
If needs be, the supplier reserves the right to charge the Party Leader for
any damage believed to be caused by the Client(s) to the Accommodation, its
contents or any other company property. We reserve the right to charge for
the damage in full, having sought consultation from an external supplier
for the cost of repair(s).
XIII. Complaints
Should you have cause for complaint, we request that you make your
complaint known to a local representative at the earliest opportunity so
that we may take whatever action we consider to be appropriate without
delay. If at the end of your holiday you still feel that your complaint has
not been dealt with satisfactorily, we request that you notify us in
writing within 30 days of your scheduled date of return, so that we can
investigate the issue further.
XIV. Website, Social Media & Brochure Information
The supplier makes every effort to ensure that the information provided on
their website and in any literature is accurate at the time of publication.
The company reserves the right to make changes and alterations and you will
be informed whenever possible before your booking is confirmed.
XV. Jurisdiction
These conditions and any contract to which they apply are governed and
construed in accordance with English law and are subject to the
jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All disputes arising from
the interpretation, fulfilment, non-fulfilment or application of this
contract will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and
Wales.
XVI. Guest Conduct
The supplier expects any Client(s) holidaying with the company to conduct
themselves in a responsible and conscientious manner. We will not tolerate
any abuse directed at a staff member or any negligent use of the
accommodation, its contents, or any other company property.
Whilst the supplier provides unlimited beer and wine, as well as a selected
range of spirits on arrival, as a part of the catered package, we expect
Clients to regulate their own consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere
to consuming alcohol at the company premises only. Any excessive
inebriation that affects the staff members, accommodation facilities or
company property, will not be tolerated. Please note that the Client(s) may
be liable to fines by the local authorities if you are found to be drinking
alcohol provided by the supplier off site.
Please note that smoking is not permitted inside any of the accommodation
or company vehicles. Smoking is permitted on the outside balconies and
terraces, using the ashtrays provided. Please ask any staff member for
guidance, or extra ashtrays.
We request that music is not to be played loudly after 10:30pm.
If necessary, the supplier maintains the right to terminate any Client(s)’s
stay if the Company have reason to believe that the Client(s) have behaved
in an abusive or negligent manner. In these circumstances, the supplier
reserves the right to retain full payment paid by the Client(s), upon early
termination of their stay.
XVII. Health and Safety relating to Leisure Facilities, Swimming Pool etc.
You are responsible for ensuring your own safety at all times when using
the accommodation and its facilities. Please familiarise yourself with the
operation of the facilities and exercise due caution when using them. If in
any doubt, please speak to a representative for guidance. Please be aware
that there are no lifeguards on duty at any of our Accommodation.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult around the swimming pools/hot
tubs and saunas at all times.
• Young children must be fitted with buoyancy aids before entering the
swimming pool or hot tub
• Please do not run on the decking at any time.
• Please do not jump into the swimming pool or hot tub
• Please do not drink out of glassware when near the leisure facilities.
Plasticware is provided by the outdoor bar.
• Please take care when leaving the hot tub or pool in case of ice or wet
flooring .
• Please ask for a staff member’s help if you wish to change any pool or
sauna settings (temperature, jets, etc). Our staff are fully trained in how
to amend such settings.
The swimming pool and/or hot tub will be cleaned regularly by a staff
member or an external servicing company. The supplier will always endeavour
to undertake the work at the least disruptive time for our guests, however
some inconvenience may be unavoidable.
Please be aware that excessive time spent in a swimming pool or hot tub may
cause skin irritation, for which the supplier cannot be responsible.
XVIII. Fireplace
It is the suppliers staff’s responsibility to light and maintain the fire
for the clients. Therefore, please do not add firewood to the fire without
a member of staff’s consent, as this is an inherent fire risk. If you would
like the fire to continue after dinner, please ask a staff member to top up
the firewood before they leave the Accommodation.
Please do not remove any ashes from the fireplace. Staff will undertake
this duty as a part of their daily responsibilities.
XIX. Chalet Staff
All Accomodation are staffed to the appropriate level the company deems fit
to undertake those tasks and duties needed to ensure the operational
delivery of a luxury catered chalet holiday.
Staff are selected according to their aptitude to undertake specific roles
and responsibilities, and are expected to only work within specific working
hours. Therefore, staff may not be able to assist a client with all of
their requests if these fall outside of their normal duties. (For instance,
the additional request to wash and pack the client’s clothing).
In the event that a member of staff agrees to a specific guest request
outside of normal duties, staff can accept no responsibility for any
damages to Client(s) belongings.
In Courchevel 1850, Chalet St Christophe is a place where luxury and authenticity have come together. Located in the very prestigious district of Nogentil, Chalet St Christophe accommodates 10 guests on a fully catered basis. The chalet has superb facilities including swimming pool, sauna and massage room.
