With a year around snowsure glacier and some of the best off-piste skiing in the Europe, it is easy to see why Les Deux Alpes is such a popular ski destination. Explore over 220 kilometres of piste; that's 96 in total: 17 (18%) beginner; 45 (47%) easy; 22 (23%) intermediate; 12 (12%) difficult. The resort is known as being ‘upside down’ because some of the easiest runs and beginner slopes are found higher up the mountain while the harder slopes run into the village. This is just one thing that makes Les Deux Alpes so unique.
If you are looking to relax and soothe the muscles after a long day on the mountains, a 6 day lift pass entitles entry to the outdoor heated swimming pool and ice rink. Perfect for all the family to enjoy! Once the batteries are recharged, there is a great selection of bars to enjoy some après ski at, ranging from from friendly pubs and sports bars to clubs and a couple of quieter, more traditional venues.
Feeling hungry? Les Deux Alpes offers a huge range of mountain and resort restaurants where you can treat yourself to a variety of world cuisines.
Les Deux Alpes has talked about this idea for 30 years, but it seems to be happening in 2021 and 2023. An 18-pylon gondola will link Les Deux Alpes with Alpes d'Huez, making it one of biggest ski areas in the world! A giant three-resort area (Les Deux Alpes, La Grave, Alpes d'Huez) with three glaciers. What more would you want!

Skiing in Les Deux Alpes is suited for abilities. For beginners, the village runs are wide, gentle and southwest facing, giving first-timers plenty of time to practice their turns. The very easy slopes on the glacier mean that even beginners can experience the atmosphere at high altitude. The Glacier du Mont de Lans offers less challenging skiing at an altitude of up to 3,570m - the glacier is dominated by blue runs, however, there is access to the off-piste area of La Grave. Experts can revel in the extensive off-piste opportunities. And there are the renowned blacks of nearby Alpe d’Huez to tackle too.
