Sales Terms and conditions – LE BLIZZARD
RATES - Our rates include bed & breakfast, are in Euros (€) and all taxes included, except from the visitor’s tax.
Prices for our rooms are per night whether the room is occupied by 1 or 2 people.
Prices for our suites (Junior Suite, Duplex Suite, Suite) are per night, for 2 people. When children are sharing the parent’s room (=3rd or 4th occupancy), a supplement of 50 € per person and per night is applied.
Prices for our 2-bedroom suites are per night, for 4 people. Please note that we do not have any extra beds. The supplement only applies to rooms designed to accommodate additional
people (triple rooms, suites, 2-bedroom suites).
A baby cot (up to 3 years old) can be added for free in all our rooms.
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE
To confirm a reservation, a deposit will be required as follows:
DURING « HIGH SEASON » WEEKS (from 16/12/22 to 01/01/23 inclusive and from 11/02/23 to 04/03/23 inclusive)
50 % of the total amount for all stays of more than 2 nights
100% of the total amount for all 1-night stays
Balance due 60 days before arrival
FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON
30 % of the total amount for all stays of more than 3 nights
50 % of the total amount for all 2-night stays
100% of the total amount for all 1-night stays
Balance due 45 days before arrival
The client will pay for his extras on departure, unless otherwise advised.
It is reminded to the client, in accordance with Article L. 121-20-4 of the Consumer Code, that he does not have the right of withdrawal as provided in Article L. 121-20 of the Code of consumption, since the services are provided on a date or at specified intervals.
All cancellations must be sent by e-mail or fax. Only the date of receipt by LE BLIZZARD 5* is valid.
At least 45 days before arrival (60 days during the “high season” weeks), the full deposit is reimbursed with a deduction of 50 € for management fee.
Less than 45 days before arrival (60 days during the “high season” weeks), the prepayment is kept in full and is not refundable, whatever the reason for the cancellation. No other fees will be applied. An invoice can be provided for the guest personal insurance.
All modifications (change of dates, shorten stay, etc.) must be sent by e-mail or fax. Only the date of receipt by LE BLIZZARD 5* is valid.
At least 45 days before arrival (60 days during the “high season” weeks), a fixed price of 50 € per booking is charged for management fee.
Less than 45 days before arrival (60 days during the “high season” weeks), modification is no longer
possible. The amount of the stay as specified in the booking confirmation will be due in full. The full prepayment is kept and cannot be reimbursed or postponed for another stay.
In case of a no-show, the booking is automatically cancelled. The full amount of the reservation initially booked is charged. The full prepayment is kept and is non-refundable or cannot be postponed for another stay.
Any stay, once started, must be paid in full.
In case of early departure, the amount of the stay as specified in the booking confirmation will be due in full. The prepayment is kept and cannot be reimbursed or postponed on another stay.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Rooms are ready from 3 pm on arrival day and must be released by 12 noon on departure day.
An early or late check-in should be mentioned before arrival.
A late check-out, on previous request and depending on availability, may result in additional charges.
The hotel promises to do his best to respect all the guests’ preferences, but cannot guarantee, under any circumstances, a particular room number, floor or decoration style.
All our rooms are strictly non-smoking. We request our guest to smoke only outside on the balcony; a pocket ashtray is available in the room. If cigarette smell and/or damages due to tobacco consumption are detected in the room, the hotel reserves the right to charge the cost of the cleaning service.
PARTICULAR CONDITIONS OF SALE SPECIAL COVID-19
In the following cases, we set up flexible cancellation policy up to 14 days prior to arrival:
French borders closing or borders of the originating country of the client
French Government instruction implementing closing of the ski lifts, the ski resort and/or the hotel
In the following specific cases, we set up flexible cancellation policy up to 24 hours prior to arrival:
One of the future guest is tested positive to Covid-19 within 5 days prior to arrival day (medical certificate required)
The client has the choice between:
Get a refund of the amount paid, deducted from 50€ management fee per booking
Postpone the full amount paid for a future stay in one of our two properties, summer or winter season, before 01/05/2024 (no management fee apply)
Supplementary visitor’s tax: 3.30 € per person from 18, per night.
Animals are accepted in the room with a supplement of 30 € per night, per animal (does not include meals). They are forbidden in our Spa and both restaurants.
Parking is also on supplement. We provide a driver service.
LE BLIZZARD 5* runs 2 restaurants :
« Le Blizzard », for the most exigent palate, proposes traditional French Cuisine (for lunch and dinner)
« La Luge » is devoted to Savoyard specialties and grill (only open for dinner)
Our sister property, the Hotel Village LA MOURRA 5*, located at 500 meters from the hotel runs a bar-restaurant:
« La Mourra » serves Japanese-influenced & fusion cuisine (only open for dinner)
Breakfast is served buffet-style in our restaurant “Le Blizzard” from 7:00 to 10:30 a.m., or in the room with supplement.
We do not offer a half board package. Therefore, should the guest wish to have dinner in one of our restaurants, we recommend that they reserve a table well in advance through our Concierge (subject to availability).
The hugely popular Hotel Blizzard is a sophisticated 5 star property located on the main street of Val d'Isère. Access to everything is extremely straightforward with the resort centre on your doorstep and the lifts just a short walk away. With facilities including a popular restaurant & bar along with a super Wellness Centre, it is a fantastic choice.
