Skiing in Val Thorens is suitable for all levels, with some fantastic beginner slopes all the way through to some of the more challenging off-piste itineraries in the Three Valleys for advanced skiers. Ski holidays in Val Thorens are a sure way to get the most out of the snow from December to April.

It may not the be prettiest of resorts, but it offers not only great snow but a huge range of non-ski activities, family friendly slopes and a while nightlife scene. At 2,300m it has 200m on its nearest pretender, Tignes. Val Thorens's terrain suits everyone from beginners to experts. The resort is not only linked to the vast network of trails across the across the well-known Méribel and Courchevel valleys in the Trois, but also into the neighbouring fourth valley, the Maurienne.

Val Thorens has taken the title of World’s Best Ski Resort at the 2017 World Ski Awards! Val Thorens in France has claimed the title of world's best ski resort for the fourth time, thanks to its "pioneering spirit" and "breathtaking natural environment." For the 2017/2018 ski season, the resort is opening a new five-star Montana-inspired luxury chalet next month; new rooftop igloo pods and Finnish hot tubs; a €1.2 million off-piste chalet above Lac du Lou that can sleep 31 people; and ice-driving in vintage cars.

Ski passes

We know how valuable your skiing time is to you so that is why we can to pre-book your lift passes for you, to save you the time and hassle of doing it once in resort. No additional charge!

The lift passes will be ready and waiting for you in your chalet/hotel/apartment, so you can hit the slopes immediately! You can book these at any time after you've booked.

Ski & equipment hire

The last thing you want to do at the start of your holiday is queue up in a crowded ski hire shop. We understand this and that is why we offer to pre-book all your equipment so that it is ready and waiting for you. You can either collect it from the shop yourself or some shops even offer a chalet fitting service, where all the equipment will be brought around to the chalet, thus avoiding the ski hire shop completely.

Ski school

Ski school can be a real hassle to organise so let us do all the hard work for you. We have built relationships with the top ski schools in Courchevel and we can book lessons for all ability levels, both private and group lessons.

For Christmas, New Year, Russian New Year and February Half Term, we strongly advise pre-booking your lessons as soon as possible as the group lesson and private lesson slots gets booked up very quickly! You can book lessons at any time after you've booked.
