The slopes around Grindelwald are perfectly suited for the progressive beginners to intermediates, with extra variety here and there for the expert skier.

Grindelwald has a certain cosmopolitan feel to it, with plenty of excellent restaurants and bars, and traditional Swiss hospitality is in ample supply. The mountain restaurants come highly recommended, and the welcoming bars and restaurants in the town all serve enticing Swiss cuisine.

On top of this, Grindelwald holds a great deal of popularity due to the trip you can take up The UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, The Jungfraujoch – the highest railway station in Europe. From here take in the staggering views from the Sphinx viewing tower and visit the ice palace which has been carved into the glacier.
