St Moritz is one of the world's most famous and oldest resorts having been founded in 1864. Chic, elegant and exclusive with a cosmopolitan ambiance, it is located at 1,856 metres above sea level in the middle of the Upper Engadine lake landscape.

Despite being the world capital of winter glitz, there is far more than just bling to this high resort.  Its altitude provides a certain amount of snow reliability in addtion to plenty of sun and its excellent ski area spans over 350km of pistes with 58 lifts divided into 4 separate areas. Ski from the top at 3,305m or enjoy the steepest start slope in Switzerland - the Piz Nair Wall - with its 100% vertical drop. For winter hikers, there are 150km of walking trails and 200km for cross country skiers to track out.

Numerous luxury hotels, spas and upscale shops line the streets and there is abundance of off the slope activities, making St Moritz one of the best all-round winter sports resorts in the world.
